Round 5 - 16th March 1997

Description: If ever there was an example of why you shouldn't follow other DFers then this would be it. Both John Heath and John Jocys left there cars on the east side of Rivington Reservoir, and seeing them both legging it from their cars towards the reservoir, Chris saw it fit to leave his there too. All three teams ended up walking and climbing miles until they eventually got on site. Meanwhile Chris Plummer got in, having irritatingly left his car in the best possible place. The pub was to have been the Yew Tree, but when we got there, it was rather a posh affair, so we went somewhere in Horwich instead. But even then we had to wait ages for basic food like sausage, egg and chips. You win some, you lose some.
