The location for this month's DF was chosen from a chance glance up a side road while driving home one day, on further investigation the whole site is waterlogged with some of the locals using it for a bike run, glorious, glorious, MUD.

On the day chosen to erect the aerial, the weather was dry, but being just after a couple of days of rain, the whole area had rivers running through it.  On Sunday morning, with granddaughter Hayley eager to join me, there was still plenty water about, but with wellies on we worked our way into the hide.

After the first transmission (again not heard at the start, only 12.5km away) we walked around the site making plenty of false trails, but only one competitor John Heath came in the way we had.

The pub on this occasion was the Red Lion at Ellenbrook where everyone was duly fed and watered, unfortunately we did not have time to let the grandchildren try out the ample looking playroom.
